Hello, I am getting "you need the official whatsapp to use this account android" when i try to login in WhatsApp using my number. I downloaded WhatsApp from official Play Store. I even tried downloading apk from official website and installing. I even formatted the phone and tried again. Still i am getting same results. Message not delivered but phone says ringing?

Hi, I tried to message my friend on WhatsApp as they fell ill today. My messages were sent but not delivered so I guessed their phone is off which is understandable. But when I tried to call on WhatsApp it says ringing (not calling) which I always thought meant that their phone is online and actually ringing. So, messages not delivered but phone says ringing? The two seem contradictory.

Whatsapp web "chat to myself" not working

Hello,

After upgrading to the new Whatsapp Web version (where the phone does not need to be online), the "chat to myself" feature is not working correctly.
On the phone (Android), when I write a message on that chat, it does not show in Whatsapp Web (chrome) or in Whatsapp for Windows.
If I write a message in Whatsapp Web or Whatsapp for Windows, then it seems to be ok, as I can see it on the phone.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue?
