Sent messages on Facebook Messenger

Messages sent on Facebook are not automatically deleted, unless you choose to remove them manually in the discussion. However, you can use Disappearing Messages to automatically remove messages once they have been seen by the recipient.

When starting a chat, make sure only the person you want to contact is included, otherwise you will start a group chat and all participants will receive your messages. If you sent a message to the wrong person, you can remove or unsend the message.
