Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this from happening when uploading pictures from WhatsApp to the iPhone Photo app.
The long, weird filenames are generated by the iPhone's operating system and are unique for each file. This helps to ensure that no two files have the same name.
If you want to keep the original filenames, you can save the pictures to your computer instead of the iPhone Photo app.
