Hi,
When Google will tell you to confirm a recovery code sent to your iPhone, click Try another way to try other recovery methods. Answer as many questions as possible to prove that you're the legitimate owner of the account.
Then, provide an email to which you've access - your recovery email in your case - so that Google will get back to you with a reset link to recover your account.

I also have a same problem.
