Hi,
Make sure the hard drive is connected and turned on.
Open Disk Management by pressing Windows + R and typing diskmgmt.msc. Right-click on the volume corresponding to your hard drive, then click Change Drive Letter and Paths. Select Add and assign a letter to your hard drive.
If the problem persists, search for Command Prompt and right-click on it to run it as administrator. Next, type the command chkdsk d: /f /r /x (replace d by the letter of your hard drive) and press Enter.
