How to get sound on my laptop

Check that the proper output device is selected in Settings > System > Sounds. If this is already the case, go to Device Manager, expand Audio inputs and outputs and right-click on the driver associated to your output device. Select the Driver tab, choose Uninstall Device then restart your laptop.
