Edit message

WhatsApp is working on a feature to edit sent messages. The feature may be available for you if you're using WhatsApp Beta.

But for now, what you can do is to copy and delete the message - select Delete for everyone, then resend the edited message. Alternatively, you can send the correction in a new message by adding an asterisk at the end of the text.
