Can I use web tools on LG smartTV

I have a LG smart TV and someone said to me that it has web os or something. Does that mean i can't use APK files to install applications on it? And can i use the instagram song download tool ?

Hi,

Downloading is not supported on webOS, so you can't use that kind of website. You can't use APK files neither as they can only be installed on Android based systems, which isn't the case for webOS.

To install apps on webOS, press Home and go to Apps (or LG Content Store​​​​​​​).
