I am trying to trouble shoot yahoo email connectivity specifying IMAP with openssl to diagnose. Is there any way to get yahoo to support this use case?
I'm able to authenticate using the account log in but once I enter the correct password, The openssl session merely stops. No diags, no "incorrect entry", nothing. Until the connection times out and drops.
Will Yahoo accept "openssl" as a client type for the alternative password transaction? ( as per help.yahoo.com/kb/password-sln15241.html )
