Reinstalling XP (German) over VISTA(English)

Hello,

I am having a new HP G60-235DX, a brand new laptop with windows Vista ,English language.
I would like to install XP-German , and -I do have Windows XP home edition -German with me.

This is the first time I will be doing installation ,could you please let me know the step by step procedure to install XP in it.

What problems I may face during installation and how shud I tackle with them?

Any help will be appreciated.
