Hp dv6 laptop chanced to xp pro /startup prob

Hello, I had to have my new hp dv6 pavilion downgraded to xp pro to run my diagnostick program for the toyota vechiles i manage for a company in Nigeria.Programs are wery slow and every time I shut my laptop off I need to run the complete startup check before my programs will appear or it gives me the main screen.Can you please assist me with a means of checking if the changes and settings was made correctly. Thanks.

Dear sir,

If you are experiencing these kind of problems, this means your system are infected or out of date!

I will advise you to update windows regularly and also update your antivirus!

It's better to format the laptop and install a fresh windows (BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA FIRST)
