Problems with Dell latitude 850

Hello, I am having trouble with my laptop , it is a Dell latitude 850. it just started happening over the weekend , when I try to turn it on the green light comes on then goes out. Left it alone all weekend and tried it on Sunday and it worked normal. while I was on it today in the middle of searching it started acting funny and wouldnt let me on any page, so I tried to restart it and now its doing it again and wont turn on completly....
PLEASE HELP ITS A WORK LAPTOP..............

Dear Sir,

I will advise you to remove the battery for 10 minutes

Then plug it back again!

Connect the power cable and turn it on!

This can solve the problem
