 I need help restoring a                 dell inspiron 6400                to the factory reset to wipe everything and start over. any instructions would be apreciated. ty

Hi there is no sound in my system and I dont have cd so what I do for that?

hi, 

check if you have the restore CD, if yes insert it and follow the instructions.

or if you do not have it, try a system restore:

>start
>all programs
>accessories
>system tools
>system restore
