problemn with icons Closed

Hello,
                in my pc i typed ntbackup in run it took lot of time so i pressed off button in CPU next when i opened icons were missing i tryed almost everything but no use i also typed EXPLORERin run but no use   so PLEASE HELP ME

Dear Sir,

I will advise you to restore your system to an earlier date

You will have to:

Press Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools ----> System Restore Open it and then select a date when your computer worked fine then press next 
Let the process to be done 
Restart your machine normally 
This will solve the problem
