My Ipod wont show up on my new mac

Hello, I bought an ipod touch and synced it to my brothers laptop it worked fine and still works fine on his laptop i have tried 2 different USB cables in all the usb slots and my touch still didnt work. I synced my shuffle on my comp with both usb cables so they both work and i cant think of anything else to try.

Dear Sir,

I think the problem comes from your computer,

You will have to plug it to another computer and format it!

Then plug it again to yours
