Sims 2 Seasons for Mac installation problemClosed

Question

Hello,
 I'm a Mac user and already have the Sims 2 installed on my computer. Now I have the Sims 2 Seasons and when the disk loads I click on it to begin installation and it says the game can't be installed while the DVD is mounted, and then tells me to eject the game. What does this mean and what should I do?? Thanks!

Is it an original Disc?

Or you downloaded the game?

Please use original discs to install games

Both the Sims 2 disc and Sims 2 Season disc are original and were purchased from the Mac store, so they're both legit.

i have installed sims3 and sims life stories and i tried to installed the sims2 expansion pack it said it has to have another copy of the disc fauilar! i bought this stupid game for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
