Problem with Sims 2 Seasons!

Hello,
I have installed the Sims 2 and the sims 2 seasons successfully.When i start playing the seasons,a message appears to the screen saying:THE MONITOR IS IN POWER SAVE MODE and then the screen turns into black!I restart my computer and everything works properly.When i start playing seasons the same "story" beggins!Please help!!

hi,

you need to check the graphics settings.

lower the graphics of the game or upgrade the graphics card.

this will fix the problem.
