Hello,
I rebooted my PC last night after having loads of problems with it. It's all running beautifully now but occasionally it says "some files require the windows xp CD". When I bought my PC Windows xp was already installed so I don't have a disk. Is there any way round this without actually going out and buying a CD?

Many thanks

Look around. Your PC came with 2 CDs titled Operating System and Drivers and Utilities. If you don't have them, call your computer manufacturer and they should be able to supply new ones at no charge.

I did this with Dell and it worked out well.
