Problem with my brother's laptop

Hello, my brother's laptop developed a problem, it goes off and then shows a blue screen and immediately restart itself, but the problem was discovered to be blue screen of death and was solved by me in which it was fixed up, but after installing like two softwares and shut down the system, later on restart it again but it was showing me system recovery i discover that after finishig the recovery the new softwares installed were missing. I tried again but still the same thing. What should i do to the problem?
