SATA problem

Hello,
I just installed an LG DVD Rewriter in my computer.
I plugged in the SATA power cable ( The rewriter opens and closes and the light comes on )
I installed the Sata Data cable into the SATA 1 terminal on my motherboard but my computer isn't seeing it
Any suggestions?

try to swap the jumper to (cs) computer select

if still same issue then try to change the terminal to other or another sata cable itself
