Windows xp won't load Closed

Question

Hello,my problem is that when i turn on my computer it starts like normal but it only goes as far a welcome windows xp then the screen goes black it will not load i tried f8 to reboot the whole computer but it says floppy or network, i am lost for what to do. i ahve never seen this before please help!!!!!

I will advise you to restore your system,

To do System Restore: Press F8 when the Computer starts after bios check, then select Safe Mode, 
1.Click Start.
 2.Point to All Programs.
 3.Point to Accessories.
 4.Point to System Tools.
 5.Click System Restore.
 Choose a date when your computer was working fine, then press Next Let the process to be done then the computer will restart normally.
