Compaq R4000 laptop > Philips LCD

Hello,

I have a Compaq R4000 laptop with an 'ati mobility radeon xpress 200 series' video card

I want to connect my laptop to my lcd tv which is a Philips but I am just no good at this

Right now I am trying to connect it using the following:

I have the a VGA cable coming out of the back of my tv

That VGA cable splits off to 3 rca audio/video (yellow, red, white) cables and then a forth split onto an s video

I try connecting that into the side input of my tv and I don't know where to go from there.

Any ideas?
