Will data be lost from other drives on restre

Hello,
If I restore my HP pavilion dv6500 laptop to manufacturer settings will I lose the data from my other drives too? Do I need to make a backup or will they be unaffected?

hi there,

no data will be deleted from the

other drives but as a precaution always make a backup

of all necessary files and data
