MY EXTERNAL HDD works in bios but not in wind

Hello,
i just bought a casing which converted my laptop hard disk into external hdd it worked first time but after that it didnt work at all. the hard disk can be read but it cant be detected also i checked the disk management and its not there too what should i do what can be the prob.

hi there,

check the usb cable

change if needed or use other usb ports
