Help woth my laptop

Hello,
when i put my dvd/p.c.game a box used to pop up saying either play movie or open game ,
the box does nto come up now i cannot play my game or watch dvd's on my laptop !
is there another way i could get up the game or dvd ?
please help !

Try going to my computer and it should say that there is a disc in your rom drive. Click on the disc icon and it should open right up for you.
