HP Laptop Closed

Question

Hello,
My computer is a HP Pavillion dv6700.  Recently i was on it and it just turned itself off by itself.  I checked the battery and it was fully charged and plugged in the wall.  I then took out the battery and put it back in with no avail.  Also every time I click the power button, the front end of the computer makes a weird clicking noise and then nothing happens,  Also, the computer does not recognize anything.  Please help.
