Hello,
My brother system restored my computer a few days ago, and suddenly, it started to delete all my files on my desktop everytime I turned it off or I rebooted it.

I've tried using system recovery, but F8 has absolutely no effect on startup.

I do NOT have deep freeze,I've made sure of that.

Could you tell me how to fix the computer or at least how to do a system restore?

hi there,

follow these steps to make system restore:

Click Start, Programs, and then Accessorie

Click System Tools and open System Restore

on the System Restore window,

select Restore my computer to an earlier time all worked perfectly

and click Next and follow the steps

to restore your computer to an earlier date.

Thanks

Tried that. My computer doesn't have system restore or system recovery in the start menu.

Is it possible to boot up system restore/ recovery from the setup menu at startup?
