My computer won't boot, it just beeps at me.

Please Help Me,
I was trying to startup my computer the other day and all it does is beep when I press the power button to turn it on. I have heard that unplugging and plugging the ram in may help, and also checking that the fan is sized correctly and installed correctly. I was wondering if there were any other ways. I am not quite sure what's wrong with it, it could be a loose ram disk or a corrupt disk but I have no idea. Thanks in advance...

You have to check your memory ram and your processor, or both ?
