Xp on usb diskdrive without physical harddisk

Hello,
is it possible to install and boot any os(especially xp) from usb disk drives without having any physical hard disk connected to the pc???

Hi !

Some OS can be used without a hard disk. We call this method LiveCD (using CD ou DVD), we can also use USB flash disk to run or install an OS on the PC, but it's not recommended to use the computer without a hard disk. In fact, USB flash disks are very slow comparing with the hard disk, and you'll have the most boring OS you have ever seen ;-)
