I am unable to add my Windows XP laptop to my already established at home Network. I have the correct workgroup name. However, I attempted to add my laptop by way of my USB. When I did this my laptop said "wizard cannot automatically configure your network settings on the version of Windows that is running on this computer". I then selected the option to print my network settings so I may enter them manually for the computer. However when I tried to enter the network key (WEP for this connection) wireless configuration said that the password needed to be 40 bits or 104 bits depending on my network configuration, and could be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexadeciaml characters. I would like to know how can I configure my connection on this particular laptop?
