Verabtim 8 GB Mini USB Flash Drive

I dont know if this is right section to post this or not *

I use Microsift Vista and had bought a new Verbatim 8 GB Mini USB Mini Card, since it was new I hadnt set any pass on it. Now I face problem

1. I can not read or write on the Card. Its not readable. It gives me a pop up to Re format the Drive.

2. On choosing the option another pop up pops saying that the drive is wirte protected and can not be formatted, where in the first place I hadnt set any pass for it.

Please Note that I have plugged this in another computer also using Vista and it gives the same error

this started happening after I unplugged it without using the Remove Safely option in the notify section
