Hello,how to format fedora using windows xp s

Hello,
how to format fedora using windows xp sp 2.
when i try to install xp,it shows 'SETUP IS CHECKING YOUR HARDWARE CONFIGURATION'
and after that blank screen appears and nothing happens.I had installed windows server2003 and same problem occured for server so i formatted it by using fedora but this problem is continue for fedora also.I have tried vista also and it shows that there is some error with your hardware or software and system is shutting down.
Please tell me what should i do.

Hello Sir,

Access your Bios settings, set to default settings,

Then change your Sata mode to IDE

then Install Windows XP
