Win XP

m Harshit
m having problem while installing Win XP on my Vista supported Compaq laptop. It displays a blue screen with a message "A problem has been detected and windows have shut down to prevent damage to ur computer....".
There is no option of disabling Sata in my BIOS. Somebody plzz HELP ME!!!! I m struggling since last 6 mnths.
