Help No sound on my computer

Hello,
I used Vista windows no sound ,but sound pointer indicate sound but no sound in the speaker or headphone.Help please.

Hello there,

Go to your volume settings, click on the speaker icon on your taskbar
Then Select Mixer try to verify if the system volume is on mute, just put everything to high
