Black Screen With ToshibaClosed

Hello,
When I start up my Toshiba Windows Vista Laptop, everything is normal. I hit "enter" for Start Windows Normally and it loads but then the screen goes black and all I can do is move the cursor. I've restarted it over and over again with no success. I've pressed F8 and F5 constantly, I've tooken out the battery but still, nothing! Please help me if you know what to do. It is a Toshiba Windows Vista Laptop.

hello there,

If you can see the cursor it means there's a problem with your Windows OS, 

I will advise you to recover windows to it's original state,

If you have a recovery partition or disc it will be better to recover windows
