Yahoo Call Setup Wizard
Open Yahoo Messenger Window, go to Actions > Call Setup

Yahoo Audio Preferences
Go to yahoo messenger main window , Messenger > Preferences > Calling & Audio
In this setup, select the microphone input from the dropdown, and similarly the speaker settings.

After selecting the proper input and output, this must work
