Sims 3 stairs

Hello,
Can anyone help me make stairs to the front door of my house after I have made the house on a foundation.

you can only make stairs if there is a significant gap between the door space and the end of the foundation where the stairs are going to be placed, even using moveobjcts on wont work cause it interferes with the door opening
