Memory upgrade of new computer

Hello,

I have a Pentium (R) 4 2.93 GHz with 504 MB Ram. My hard drive is about 80 GiG. I'm running XP.

I am finding it very sluggish these days. It is only used for surfing and a few programs but nothing memory intensive.

Do I need to upgrade to a new machine or will adding ram help me much.

you can add up to 4gb ram

provided all are of same frequency

Hi,

Today, when I was working with a file in Corel and wanted him to withdraw, I got the error " Out of memory"

Then I tried to do the same with other Corel files and got the same error.

I think that the problem is not in memory, because it also happens with other smaller files, and my computer has a memory of 8GB.

I tried to work with this file on another computer and there are the same problems too.

I also repair Corel with installation tool, but no luck.

Can you help me?

my problem is that i was having 182gb of space in my inspiron 1525, but when i shut down it and started it again , it says only 173gb, i am 100% sure that there is no viruse ,and also i have dik cleaned and used ccleaner but it only did from 170 gb to 173gb.what could be the problem, my drives are functioning normally, i have total 250gb hd, 2gb ram , vista home premium. has somebody got an idea
