Hello,
My 40GB external HDD goes in a loop once any data is fed to it & then becomes un-recoverable.
Once it had crashed & I had got it repaired.But lost all the data.Now I have formatted it with disk mngmnt tool.
It has two partitions of 20GB each.
What is the problem?I am unable to use it for fear of loosing data.
Help.

But if you have repaired it, it should be good to use now ?
