Hi,
Do you have only this problem with your PC?
There are some kinds of viruses causing problems like this.
Check out if you can change your folder options to view hidden files?
My Computer > Tools Menu > Folder Options > View Tab > Show hidden files and folders-ON > OK
Doe's it work?
If your setting changes to default automatically when you check it again your system is infected by the virus but you can fix it easily.
If not do the following:
My Computer > Tools Menu > Folder Options > General Tab > In the box named "Browse folders" check the button "Open each folder in the same window" and click OK.
Then if the problem didn't fix I'll help you to kill the little virus.

i have tried it but the problem still pursuing
i have found autorun.inf on my each drive i think it is due to this only
and also along with it there is b.bat file, may the reason of opening the drive in separate window is
due to the same.
another problem is that i m unable to see the hidden files and folders
it is automatically turning to do not show hidden files and folders
plz help me on this problem
