Hello,
when i hook my laptop to my samsung lcd using windows vista there is no sound. how can i change the source i cannot find it anywhere

hello
what interface did you use ? HDMI?
Normally the lcd will provide visual output, the sound system may be independent , check your lcd manual to be sure
