Have to install windows in my pc

Hello,sir
my pc now running in linux now
b4 this , it was running in win vista and i updated constantly from the microsoft website
unfortunately i deleted the win vista by deleting the windows folder from c:
now my system doesn't sense any windows related cd/dvd not even flash drive
it fails to boot from the windows cd



now i have to install windows , how can i do it?
please reply me

Hello,

Well for installation, having linux or windows does not matter, you need to change your boot from the bios so as to boot on your Windows installation cd, once you have booted on the cd, the rest of the procedure will be explained on the screen ;)

ya i tried already what u said
actually i changed my bios booting sequence with first priority to the cdrom
the problem of my system is ,
it senses and boots from linux and other os
but in case of windows it fails to boot and not even sense the cd for both winxp and winvista
what can be done to overcome this problem
please help me

Well just to make a test just unplug the power cable from you hard disk, put your installation cd, and switch boot to cd. For some bios it will ask you to confirm for booting on cd, it normally display a message like "press any key to boot from cd-rom" all you need is to press a key to load from the cd
