How can i sure my c formated file restore

wellcome.give me a suggestion .i used deepfreezsoftware but it lost my pen drive copying file from software D drive.after restarting i can not get my file by opening folder.another problem i formated my C drive .i lost my desktop file with.but i make a shortcut file in software D folder this file deleted aftyer C formated.i backup new xp setup after.but i cannot retiver my file.so have any way to retive and how can see the retrive file and copy.can any way answer of this quetion?
