Is it giving any error while opening IE-EXPLORER, If yes please mention it. and if not please download IE-Explorer 7 or 8 for Microsoft Web-site.

A blank window pops up and in the upper left corner is a message that says " connecting "...only it never connects, then a small window opens with this message....Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close...blah, blah, blah. Sending an error report does absolutely nothing.

You will needed to reload the IE-EXPLORER from the Microsoft web site
Before I ever wrote to this forum, I downloaded IE 8 thinking maybe I needed the update from 7, but 8 wouldn't open either. I tried System Restore which undid 8. I'll try to reload IE. Thank you.
