Windows downgrade from vista now no wireless

I have a hp pavillion dv2928 (basically dv2000) I downgraded from vista windows xp and now I can't get my wireless to work. The light normally changes from orange to blue when I turn it on but now its constantly blue. I've tried a bunch of different drivers but can't get it to work.
