Opening a file in start menu

Hello,
hi sir,
when i try to open a file in the start menu ,every time it asks (open with)option,,even if it is run command or notepad ...and also when i try to install softwares i am facing the same problem......and the in the start menu i am not getting the icons of the programs.
please help me to solve this problem,as soon as possible

hi there,

your pc has been infected by a virus

to remove it please follow these few steps:

open the registry press windows key+r

then type regedit

go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion \Explorer\MountPoints2

right click mountpoints2 , select permission

click advance,uncheck inherit from parent the permission entries

that apply to child objects.Include these with entries explicity

Click remove Yes
