An apple iPod shuffle 1gb without cd

Hello,
I got an apple iPod shuffle 1gb without a cd......
i downloaded iTunes.But it doesn't contain the 'Devices' option......
what should i do...
which itunes should i download........

Normally the ipod shuffle doesn't come with a disc,

You just have to download the latest version of itunes,
