Multiplayer call of duty 4

Hello,
I would like to know where I go or what I do to start the multiplayer call of duty. I have went in the multiplayer and in a level but I was all by myself I have no clue on how to play with onliners.

hi all i do is launch multiplayer side of the game click on join a game wait for the server list to populate sort by iether game type (teamdeath match free for all etc etc) then srt by number of plyers (click the top of the colum to srt) then select a game with two or more players in it, some servers are set up for low ping and may not allow you to connect just rerun the sort list and try another server. i hope this helps you
