Hi,
First of all, what is the exact error?
Did it stop working suddenly or is it a new hard drive? Have you changed something on your PC?
Try to enter BIOS and check the boot order in something like "Boot Devices Priority". If it's not the case, put your hard drive 1, and your CD / DVD ROM drive after.
Remove any floppy disk, CD ROM in your drives.
