Laptop problem

Hello,
i have a problem in my laptop.
i have a compaq laptop bearing no..........compaq presario 785tu
last 2 days...i have found a think pink coloured straight line on left side of my laptop.......
that line always appears at start up...after that it comes and goes.
it stays at d window for 2-3 min then gradually dissaapears...and then it comes again........
i can't understand .what d problem is going on........it doesn't affect anything...but looks odd.....
hope u can understand......and reply me d solution.....cost also....

hi there,

this is the display that has a problem on it

you can change it or add an external monitor attached to it

the price varies on the person repairing it or the screen to be purchase

its also possible that the screen was pressed like when in the carrier bag and something was

on it with a heavy load and this produces this line
